HANAHAKI pt. I

Set in a dark wood frame, this is one of three original paintings based on the (fictional) Hana Haki disease, wherein a person's feelings are so strong that they explode out of their bodies in the form of coughing up flower petals. 

Made during a time where I really thought myself in love with a certain someone, only to have it be unrequited. I suppose setting the artwork in a frame is just another way of containing my emotions.
